@devaziej many people don't have any reaction so many Drs don't know enough about the drugs they give to beware of all possible reactions. I took Fosomax for 8 months and developed severe arrythmia. My Dr sent me for lots of heart tests all negative. I was the one who suggested maybe it is the Fosomax? He didn't think so but I stopped it and got better in a couple of weeks. After reading many reactions on this site and Drs in the dark I have come to conclusions that your general doc doesn't know enough about osteoporosis just knows what drugs to prescribe. I am going natural with weight training and vitamins and collagen powder.

@humphreysbr Hello, I too was on Prolia about 1 year ago and after the first shot the next day I felt like I was run over by a truck. My legs ached and I was so weak. Mind you I am incredibly fit-exercise about 12 hours a week. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis -not horrible readings but there probably because of chemo a few years earlier and age. 75. And my gums bled profusely. Also it is a real concern to have dental work done possible necrosis of the jaw. I know two women where the bone actually was coming through their mouth!!!. Then I was on actonel and that nearly put a hole in my esophagus. To this day I cannot swallow food properly without taking pepcid or other medications. Really disgusting that the medical professionals do not divulge the horrible side effects.
