@quickstepper thanks for replying. my ENT has recommended a sinus rinse. I'll admit I'm a bit scared to do it. I've read horror stories of people who use regular water and end up with nasty bacterial infections leading in some cases to death. I realize this isn't that, but I have become paranoid with all things health that can conspire to make my body even more miserable lol. I know I should try it.

@uget1shot you CAN do this! I didn't like the idea of it at all. It wasn't fun the first time, but then I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was worth it because I liked how clean my sinuses felt afterwards. It's just one minute of saline rinsing and you're done. I guess you can use a neti pot, but I used the squeeze bottle. The Neilmed people have videos to watch to get you started. Yes, absolutely buy some distilled water. No tap water allowed for this rinse.

You must use distilled purified water, available in all grocery and drug stores. You won’t have a problem, only relief.
