I’ve had severe burping since gastroperesis. Would continue until it took my breath away and go on for hours. Mylanta was the answer for me. As soon as I would start burping I would take a double dose of Mylanta. About 25 to 30 minutes later it would stop. It would usually start in the evening or at night. At night I would sit up for 30 or 40 minutes after the Mylanta. Hope this works for you too
