Hi Amanda,
I bought a new mattress two months ago and I'm so glad that I did because I fell about a month ago and this Tempo-Pedic has helped me. I am able to raise and lower it to become comfortable for a good night's sleep. My lower back and hip were so painful I could not walk without a walker. X-rays reveal no fractures only soft tissue
injury. I am on medication and I am recovering. You can lie down on the mattresses at the store to try them out.
I think you should shop for a mattress store and go with someone to help you choose. I had a wonderful salesperson who helped me with choosing and pricing.

Hi! Thank you so much for your reply! The tempur pedic mattresses are definitely on my list to try. I remember they felt comfortable the last time I went mattress shopping YEARS ago, and I really like them. I decided against getting one because of the price, but right now I'd pay a million dollars for just the right mattress.
Thanks again for the tip and I'm glad your mattress brought you relief.

Good point, on Tempur-Pedic or any mattress - get one where the back can be raised as well as the bottom. Costly, but worth it.
