Not a good PET scan!!! Cancer has spread to sacrum

I ended up at the Er today. I had a fever of 102.4
Turns out I have pneumonia, a small pneumothorax and pleural effusion. after talking to the pulmonologist, we decided my lungs were stable even with all of that, and he didn’t feel like putting achest tube in would provide much of a benefit.
Concerning new cancer treatments….I am not doing anything. Hospice comes to my house tomorrow

@loulou2023 , I'm just checking in on you. Is the pneumonia clearing, so you can at least start to feel a little better?

@loulou2023, I hope you are home now and starting to feel better. Pneumonia is tough and was the last thing you needed right now. Your body needs some recovery time. I'm glad your pulmonologist has weighed in, and that you are getting the care that you need.
I hope you had a productive meeting with the hospice staff, and that they are a good match for you and your family. I honor your conviction for doing what's right for you. Big hugs.
