@miznancy I feel that my doctor doesn't think the pain is real. It just can't be anything else, and has become worse with every injection. I am far from being a hypochondriac, and just want to enjoy my very active life without this horrible joint pain. It is so bad now in my neck and shoulder that after X-rays I was injected with Botox in the muscles and cortisone in the joint. I hope it helps. I don't want to break any bones, but this has been miserable. And the exhaustion! I have been checked out with blood work, and that has to be the reason. Nothin else is wrong and I am a cheerful person- except when I am suffering!

I was at work the other day and all of a sudden my arm went numb. I was massaging my arm until I got home.
My fingers were swollen and I couldn't use my right arm.
I had them give me 2 injections last month in my right arm because of breast cancer a few years ago.
The next day I had a colonoscopy and the nurse started an IV in the same hand as the swelling. When they administered the anesthesia my body went jumping and the pain was the worse pain ever for anesthesia. I was fighting for my life and then I thought I died when I finally fell asleep.
I woke up and couldn't stop crying because I was alive.
Later that day the swelling was finally going away. It was like a miracle. By the evening I was able to use my hand again.
