@timely Will Medicare cover the cost of the HLA oral medication? Is it 100% effective or do you take the tablets at only certain times of the day. like at bedtime?
How long have you been taking the tablets and do the doctors indicate they will be effective for a long time? What is the brand name of the HLA tablets? Thanks!

You would have to go online to see what Medicare covers.

I have had osteoarthritis for a long time and bone on bone osteoarthritis in both knees.
I have taken collagen tablets for 15 years.
( hyaluronic acid tablets.)
I have had no knee pain for 15 years except when I was taking Leterzole which also caused neuropathy.
I did have knee pain before I started the hyaluronic acid tablets.

Maybe I am the exception with no knee pain. I started taking the Life Extension ArthroMax Advanced which also has collagen in it which was recommended by an online friend and researched collagen and added the Hyaluronic acid tablets to the ArthroMax Advanced tablets.

I have reached the point now where I will need knee surgery.
