@colleenyoung No CRC. Had cologuard which was negative 2 years ago. Started having mild abdominal discomfort and bowel changes. Doc asked for colonoscopy. CT was clean. Wondering if CT and Cologuard could go wrong.

@colleenyoung my CRC was actually discovered by my DO/MD when I was by him for back pain…told him I had persistent belly ache…his hands told him there was a hard lump where it should not be and told me it was URGENT for me to get tested…though he didn’t give a diagnosis, he made me get serious and not hesitate…so I immediately called my great internist and she fit me in and lined me up for fast track testing at NYPresbyterian, where it was diagnosed quickly—big and growing fast…size like a stage 4 but no mets, thank heaven- if I’d hesitated, there probably would have been mets !…..(as a 79 yr old with no family history of CRC i wasn’t required to have c’scope.) of course, i now urge people (1 to notice changes in bowel habits, etc and (2 to do the colonoscopy .
