Has anyone tried Scrambler Therapy for neuropathy or for pain?
I have read about this device and I’m hoping someone can attest to its effectiveness for idiopathic neuropathy. I've read success stories and information online. Apparently insurance does not cover treatments, to the tune of $250 for the customary recommended 10 consecutive weekdays.

No, I have not; but,I think that is where the doctor is that started the Scrambler and taught the other doctors
that have clinics in various other locations. Would really like to hear from people that have had great/maybe not so good results having this therapy.
what does the $250 cover exactly?
How do you feel about Scrambler therapy now? Did it help you?
@lorirenee1
I’ve lived with chronic upper legs pain for 40+ years. I recently had a peripheral nerve device (NALU) implanted in my lower abdomen.
It’s an internal “tens unit” which sends the same stimuli to the brain as the Scrambler does. My device works. I’ve cut my meds in half after 2 years and I only use the device if the pain starts up. It’s miracle I never thought possible.
I’m very interested in the Scrambler and will ask my pain specialist what he thinks. Medicare covered my implant btw.

1 Reaction@tidbiddle Scrambler Therapy does not require surgical implantation. It takes about two weeks to get complete pain relief for many patients. The relief is long-lasting, sometimes permanent. It costs about $3000 for a course of treatment compared to tens of thousands for surgical implantation of a device. It is safe and risk free, compared to the significant risks of surgically implanted devices. Unfortunately, insurance would rather pay more for something less effective and more risky.
