Orgovyx - asking for advice

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to get some advice from anyone who’s currently taking Orgovyx.

I had surgery to remove my prostate in January 2025, but my PSA never dropped below 0.11. As of September, it’s up to 0.17. Sloan Kettering in New York City now wants me to start ADT using Orgovyx 120 mg tablets beginning Monday. The plan is three pills the first day, then one pill daily after that. This will come before radiation, which won’t start for another couple of months. They told me they like to begin ADT before radiation.

I’m just looking for any helpful tips or things you wish you knew before starting Orgovyx. A few things I’m wondering about:
• Does it make a difference taking it in the morning verses bedtime?
• They told me to start weight training and take Calcium 600 mg and Vitamin D 1,000 IU each day.
• I’ve read that staying well hydrated is important too.
• Did sex change after you began Orgovyx? I’ve started Trimix injections and my doctor said to keep using them through ADT.

Any advice or suggestions would really help. Thanks so much for any input.

so I am 3 months into Orgovyx ( 5 weeks with Nubeqa) ...my exp is : PSA went fro 70 to .05 in 7 weeks

Sex- pretty much not too interested..not sure what would happen if I tried..and this is from a guy who hobbied in girls since I was 15 or so..I am 73 and up until May, I had a couple of gals I played with..they keep calling but I just not interested- the PC ordeal kinda soured me on it somehow.
Stamina: lost some strength and stamina and cant ride my bike cause of the Berrygel spacer..I tried earlier today and the new seat wasnt comfortable so I will wait til radiation is over.
Hot flashes- hate them..4-6 a day.
Appetite: fine.
Sleep: getting better but still not what it was before PC diagnosis.
Mental acuity: fine.
Body hair: thinning some.
I am facing prob 18-24 mos ( now 21) months of this ADT crap..so if it doesnt get any worse, I can prob do it.. but certainly changes your life..but the alternative appears to be quite grim..so I will sodier on for now !

( the first month of Orgovyx w/ Erleada was a nighmare..I stopped taking both for a week..then doc told me to stop Erleada- Orgovyx became very tolerable after about 1 month)

Ask your doctor to put you on Nubeqa, It works almost exactly as Erleada But doesn’t have the side effects. I’ve been on it with Orgovyx and it really has been great. I know a lot of people taking it along with Orgovyx and many without Any ADT since it works with testosterone still present.

I have been on Nubeqa for nearly 3 weeks.. so far so good !..Thanks..
