What about men and Osteoporosis?

@gravity3 Thanks! Men need to realize that this isn't just something old ladies get.

And, as people here know, the challenge is to find a doctor who knows the score. My PCP just said "take Fosamax and get a DEXA in two years." Wow - apart from doing nothing at all, that would have been the worst thing I could have done! That's when I decided to contact Dr. McCormick as well as an experienced endocrinologist.

P.S. as I've posted before, Tymlos is helping me a lot, and yesterday I ran a 5K race. 🙂

@njx58 if you don't mind me asking how old were you when you were diagnosed with osteoporosis and what were your T-scores? How long can you take Tymlos for, is it a pill or injection?
