I have pNET grade stage4 with liver metastases. I have not noticed any swelling. I am also on monthly Lanreotide injections.
What treatment are you on? Maybe it is a side effect of that?
@sonalisaha09 . I am having Somatuline/Lanreotide injections every 4 weeks. This is to slow down the tumor cells growth. I also take Creon (pancreatic enzymes) with every meal and snack, since most of my pancreas has been resected, and I also do not have spleen, gallbladder and part of my stomach. During distal pancreatectomy I had " debulking surgery" of the liver.
Doing well, love to travel, have some carcinoid symptoms (flushing and night sweats), but I am still around :).

My sister has completed her Etoposide and Cisplatin chemotherapy cycles, and she continues to take her monthly Octreotide injections.
Recently, she has been experiencing abdominal pain and frequent drops in potassium levels.

I hope that she finds some relief from the abdominal pain. Have any remedies been suggested for the pain and the drop in potassium levels?
