@vkroger I totally agree. My husband and I kept asking for them to do an estrogen level test and they said they don't do them. They aren't accurate and don't show all the estrogen so it wouldn't have any bearing on my taking the AI. I call total BS. If you take a cholesterol med, like my husband does, they check your levels. Why would they expect you to just blindly take a drug with no proof that it is making any difference. The next time I go to my primary care doc I am going to ask for an estrogen level test and a blood test that shows if there are any cancer cells in your body. My husband has gotten them a few times because his father and sister both died from cancer. His primary is good with that type of thing.

@kathyfio Thanks for sharing! I'm getting a blood test ordered by an Integrative/Naturopathic Doctor in a couple of weeks. He says it's important to test all sex hormones and estradiol levels. My oncologist, on the other hand, says it doesn't need to be done.
