Vaginal burning: What could it be?

Very late to this post, just found these support groups. Women complaining of pain and being pushed aside is far too common. Throw in a vagina and beyond baby-making years? There is so little research on women in general when it comes to medicine. I'm waiting for the day that a doctor slaps me out of my "hysteria", as they did in the old days. I have chronic back pain. Burning in the vaginal area, for me, I've deduced comes when I pee and I'm especially dry. What can I do about it? Nothing I've discovered.

Hi,
For some reason we women often have problems in our vaginal areas. I know I do. I put an antibiotic cream in the area that is itchy or burning etc. It seems to help a lot. It goes away but eventually may come back so I apply the cream again. Also drinking a lot of water helps too.
