I have had 2 EMG diagnosed idiopathic neuropathy,
I was overdosed on gabapentin which caused widespread neuropathy.
As far as no cure, my wife a diabetic has used tens treatment that worked and I have used anydene light pads that worked, however both must be repeated, but NO drugs.
On the pinched nerve, I also have hemochromatosis (gene mutation that causes too much ferritin [Fe]) and related CPPD (calcium poly propinate deposits) because of my Irish ancestry.
If you have bone/nerve conduction issues the treatment is different than normal bone deposits in joints.

@daveyc you sound very knowledgeable. My good friend of Irish decent has issues with high iron and joint pain in her knee. She is in her thirties with a Hashimoto’s diagnosis as well. Do you have any other good information about how to cope?thank you in advance
