I have been on gabapentin 800 twice a day for more than fifteen years. It wasn’t for pain but more as a mood stabilizer. The study is very vague and only included people with chronic low back pain. Does it matter why you started taking it? I need more details about this study instead of this is who we chose and this is what happened.

I take it for nerve damage

@harleysmom I take 900mg 3x a day for neuropathy in my left foot and leg caused by narrowing of my spinal canal from multiple fractures to my vertebrae or possibly elevated blood sugar for the past 35 years although A1c is usually 5.7-6.2. It makes me tired so I sometimes take a nap in the afternoon. I had a bad fall last year and hit my head hard. Tripped by another tourist in a very busy area. A few months later I had vertigo and loss of balance. Vertigo went away with therapy but still have balance issues. I have been noticing slight memory issues also. Jow do you determine if these symptoms are caused by aging or the gabapentin?
