Paxil doesn’t seem to be working.

The doctors usually tell you to wait about 4 - 6 weeks for the drug to kick in, I feel the affects very quickly but I’m medication sensitive… I used Paxil many years ago for GAD/PTSD, it helped me a lot for about six months but afterwards I began to feel numb or also called emotional blunting but I continued to use them for over a year. If you don’t react fast to this medication and you have taken them past six weeks, I would recommend letting your doctor know and he might change your prescription, also there are some people who don’t respond to certain medications like Paxil and they have to try numerous different medications to find one that works for them.
