@jerryegge not a smart "generalization"...........in fact, your assertion is largely inaccurate. True for recurrent PC that androgyn deprivation therapy is a protocol of choice HOWEVER, for men with low T a number of years after RP, there is zero evidence to show that controlled TRT has any effect on the increase of return of PC. Numerous studies show nothing and some show that the TRT group actually has a LOWER incidence of the return of PC

While this is true for people that have no further sign of prostate cancer, for people that have active or metastatic prostate cancer testosterone can cause the cancer to grow. That’s why many doctors will not recommend testosterone treatment for those that have had serious cases.
