@johnbishop

I started taking supplements again recently bc like you I struggle more with numbness and it was increasing. After starting the supplements, I started having tingling like I did when I was first disgnosed in 2021 and also started having burning pain so I stopped them. Now the numbness is worse then before. Maybe I should've continued? My symptoms went away for a year with supplements but then I caused a b6 toxicity which caused symptoms to come back and my neurologist made me stop the B supplements all together. I've been struggling ever since.

Welcome @kitcatsheart, Sorry to hear that you are still struggling. When I first started reading about vitamin B supplements I became aware of the B6 toxicity that can cause neuropathy so I stayed away from anything with B6 in it including supplements and especially energy drinks. I shared what I believe has helped tame down my neuropathy in another discussion here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/957496/. I still have the numbness and tingling but it hasn't gotten any worse since I started taking the supplements. The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy also has a list of supplements shown to help with neuropathy symptoms - https://www.foundationforpn.org/vitamins-and-supplements-for-nerve-health/. Have you discussed the supplements with your doctor or neurologist?
