Hello all! I made an error in referring to the fantastic literature I received and thought it was from the Mayo Clinic Community. I apologize for any anguish or frustration to all who have looked for this information.

The information packet I referred to is from the American Brain Tumor Association. Below is their contact information:

American Brain Tumor Association
8550 W Bryn Mawr Ave
Suite 550
Chicago, IL 60631
800-886-ABTA (2282)
Email: info@abta.org
Visit: abta.org

I found them on line. There is a series of questions asked so they can send the relevant information. (Some you may need to take a guess. Don’t panic.) This association deals with more than just meningiomas. They have educational brochures (more like books/pamphlets) “for newly diagnosed patients and caregivers, including a brain tumor primer, tumor types and treatments.”

Educational webinars with nationally recognized experts are held where they discuss topics for newly diagnosed, survivors and importantly - caregivers.

They offer up-to-date information for all who are dealing with any type of brain tumors, research, support services available, resources for caregivers, brain tumor treatment centers and support group locators.

I strongly recommend anyone dealing with any type of brain tumor take the time (don’t hesitate) and explore this group. They are not a scam; just a much needed organization that has not received the acknowledgment and recognition like ALS, Alzheimer’s, cystic fibrosis, etc.

Lastly, my prayers, encouragement, and peaceful thoughts to all of you.
Many blessings, G
