Wish you luck with your MRI - I know it's really crazy sometimes to get the insurance company to approve us going out of the state to see other specialist. I had this problem years ago. In fact, I am going to start processing my insurance asking for me to see the doctors at the Mayo Clinic. I'm having a run around with doctors over here as well. One doctors would like to send me to a cancer doctor & would like me to go for a Spinal tap and the other doctor's opinion is it's benign and feels the spinal tap would not be good. The one who thinks it's benign would like me to wait for another 6 months to have a MRI to see if it grows. I don't want back surgery either - there has to be another easier way to find out about this small tumor on my spine -
