Hi im james im 47 yr old. Had colon cancer like7yrs. And would not go get checked.tell 3 yrs ago.cause did not want no bag on me. Was losing blood in stoll for yrs.as soon as eat always had to go to restroom. Finally got to were i was down to 95 lbs. And my red blood cell count went so low. Couldnt stay awake and had to have blood transfussion .with in 6 months had all my large intistine taking out.and stuck with bag for rest of my life. I did heating ac refrigeration all my life.cant do now. Cause of dehydration.and bending now. Dont wait to get checked. Time can save you from all problems i have. .was told my surgery was only going to be about 4 yrs and would be walking same day. And be hooked back up in 6 months to yr. My surgery was 12 hrs.didnt wake up to next day. Didnt walk for 2 wks and in hospital almost 2 months.. People dont wait. Testing can save you so much.yes wearing bag suxs. Wearing them for rest of your life is even worse. Going through depression and so so much more. And getting used to myself took so much. I didnt want to be around myself much less than around other people. Sleeping by my self. And feeling useless . after last 2 yrs. Figuring how to live has been something. To say the least .
