Yes, most definitely. Back in the fall of 2022 I was given a statin drug. Within months I had terrible pain in both my legs. The pain never stopped even after I threw the statin drug away. It took 3 months to be diagnosed with PMR. I have worked my way down from 15mg to 1 or 2 with two relapses. My doctor said I no longer have PMR but have Prednisone Withdrawal Symptoms. Needless to say, I still hurt and have fatigue. I am so over this and want it to go away. I wish you the best.

@jen73
I am sorry you have been going through all of that. Why were you on prednisone and what type of statin were you on? I hope you have a good outcome, recovering to 100%I am pretty sure after everything I read I will not go on the statin. Maybe the better choice is cholestOFF, the pharmacist at Costco thought it would be better one for me to try and told me to avoid red yeast rice while I am on Bimzelix injections for AS and psoriatic arthritis.
Have you heard about Ezetimibe as an alternative to a statin? I might talk to my doctor about that if my cholesterol is still to high next year. In the mean time I will think I try CholestOFF..
