Hi abba, first, thank you for describing so well, exactly what I have started to experience which helps me to know I’m not crazy. It started out of nowhere, I had not changed anything and also don’t take any medications. It’s not like migraines or usual headaches and it’s different from descriptions of occipital or trigeminal neuralgia or cluster headaches. I saw you posted a year ago and am wondering if you had made progress in a diagnosis and treatments. I hope you are doing well and it’s all now in the past.

@simmering What comes to my mind would be to consult a physical therapist who does cranial work. The skull is jointed and potentially a skull plate may get shifted slightly. I know that sounds crazy. My PT has done some hands on adjustments on my head occasionally. Have you consulted your doctor about this? I know it sounds superficial , but it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly where the pain is. A sudden head pain may be a warning for a stroke. I don’t say that to scare you, but someone with medical expertise needs to make the diagnosis. It’s easy as a patient to think you’re ok and you would not want to miss getting help if it’s a warning for something serious.
