Hey my friend, I was just getting ready to jump in bed and saw your message. I am in California so it’s a little after 10 PM.
First off, I want to tell you how sorry I am for what you’re going through. I’ve had a feeling that something has not been right with you, which is why I’ve been checking in with you. That is how God works. And just like you said, he knows what is best for you, it is just so important to ask him and he will answer. Please do not stop asking!
I’m a very private person and I want you to know that I do understand that you don’t want to talk more about it. I will answer your questions and not pry any deeper. You can always private message me if you want to keep it more private.
I’m glad that you are reading my journal and please ask me if there are any holes in it since I did do a few other posts.
So, in answer to your question, I originally had a consultation with a surgeon at UC Davis and scheduled surgery for October 1, 2024 and then it was probably two or three weeks later that I was led the Mayo Clinic just from researching online. It just popped up on my Facebook feed.
My surgery at the Mayo Clinic was December 11, 2024.
I pray every single day that God will lead me to do what he wants. This is a prayer that I have prayed for at least the past eight years, and God has always taken care of me.
I called the Mayo Clinic and they let me know that they took my insurance and I sent them all of my imaging. The girls were wonderful and I just kept checking in with them to make sure they received all my info and it went so smoothly. They called me and let me know that Dr. McClendon had accepted me as his patient And I researched him and he is amazing.
I live alone with my daughter. I was 54 at the time of my surgery.
So I am trying to read your message and answer at the same time! Please email me or private message me and we can talk more. You are in my prayers.🙏
Sherry
