@tj1967 Thanks! Using the VED with the shot wasn't part of my original instructions but the ED specialist mentioned it when I expressed my frustrations with Trimix. I guess I need to go shopping.

@jime51 I’ve got a lot of experience with VEDs because I refused to give up on having a sex life after surgery, and it took forever to finally get my Trimix appointment. I actually use two different VEDs for different reasons. One is mainly for daily rehab, and the other is for sex.

The Soma Therapy (see link below) works great for daily blood flow exercises. I don’t bother with the tension bands because they break after a few uses and cost too much to replace. Instead, I just use it to pull blood into my penis, hold it for a few minutes, release, and repeat for about 10 to 15 minutes a day. It’s basically a workout to keep blood moving and the tissue healthy.

The Vacurect (see link below) is the one I use before sex. It’s really easy to use and holds the erection better than the Soma Therapy. The only tricky part is removing the tension band afterward. The best way I’ve found is to gently squeeze your penis to push blood out of it while stretching the band. It takes a minute or two, but it works.

I’m starting Trimix tonight and hoping I don’t get any burning. I’ll still keep using both VEDs between injections and for daily rehab. Maybe it’s overkill, but sex is important to me and my wife, and I’m doing everything I can to make sure things keep working.
