I really appreciate your detailed explanation. The Sudafed recommendation came in handy. Unfortunately, I am one of those patients who reacts poorly to Trimix, with the prostaglandin/alprostadil ingredient causing significant pain during the erection and eliminating the pleasure of intercourse. I have asked my oncologist for a Bimix prescription to try, leaving out that chemical but also likely reducing the effectiveness. I'd rather not do without sex the entire two years I'm on Orgovyx and beyond that to recovery.

@jime51 Don't give up yet. I think you still have a good chance of Bimix working for you with some trial and error. Just need to find the right dose. Good luck! Have you been using the VED with any luck?

@jime51 I initially had the same discomfort with Trimix. I learned that Trimix comes in a variety of concentrations and switched to a low alprostadil formulation (Trimix #6 at menMD) which is working well without the pain. I do combine the injections with ved use for optimal effect. Good luck.
