I had a T-10 to pelvic floor surgery in February. 4 previous surgeries and fusions over the last 20 years failed and resulted in Cauda Equina syndrome. A dangerous condition that can cause loss of bowels and bladder. Surgery was scheduled immediately. The surgery lasted 10 hours, the severe sciatica was relieved immediately. The first month of recovery was intense. I returned to light duty work in July. PT is still 3 days a week, pool therapy is a must have for the first 3 months. I had 11 inch rods installed with 22 screws.
