@talllady1958, a bit more information for when you talk to them today….

After thinking, I realize I had two appointments that I was able to connect my husband in via phone at home. They were is two different departments. The first one was super straight-forward. The second department had never dealt with that request so had to ask and get back with me. Just something to be aware of that you may need to be a little persistent in asking to find the right person that can find out. My experience is that everyone you talk to will want to help you.

I hope your travel and appointments go well. I would love to hear how your experience is, and if you are willing to share more about what brings you to Mayo, and even if you have questions while you are there……you’ve got this!

@jlharsh I so appreciate your help. I suddenly about two years ago or three years ago now almost came down. Woke up when Sunday morning and I was in the back of an ambulance. I apparently had had a stroke and was having seizures. They don't know why I had gastric bypass about 15 years ago, and I started having problems again. I never had had problems before, but I started having problems with losing weight again even trying and now in a year I've lost over 100 pounds and I'm getting dangerously thin and having all kinds of stomach problems and starting to have seizures again with my medication and my doctors here in Tulsa cannot figure it out. I'm thankfully so thankful I'm getting in here. I'm 6 foot tall and down to 122 pounds this morning considering I used to be 426 pounds this is weird lol and not at all what I wanted in life I have no strength I have no energy which makes me so nervous about these all day long appointments, but I'm gonna do it. I can do all things, right!!!
