Trimix is a combination of three different drug drugs for getting an erection, As you probably know.

You could speak to your urologist and ask to get just one of those drugs. You could eventually figure out which one is causing the problem if The first one didn’t work and you tried the second one. Maybe a bimix would work for you if You could eliminate the one that caused you problems.

I don’t think many oncologist are focusing on a cure for prostate cancer. They focus on a long-term remission, but there is a little chance of a cure. Because you’ve already had it extend beyond the prostate, there is no chance you will have a cure, But you could get long-term remission.

Staying on ADT alone can cause you to become castrate resistant, Which then has a median lifespan of two years (I’m six years past that point). You might ask to get on an ARSI like Zytiga or Darolutamide. That has been shown to delay the amount of time it takes to become castrate resistant.

@jeffmarc It's my hope to switch from Orgovyx to Nubeqa at 13 months (end of a prescription) and use it alone for an additional six months. That'll give me 19, not their originally suggested 24 but ought to buy me a good amount of time before resuming treatment. I've got to get out from under these side effects. From the Orgovyx site, I'm going to try a "BRAT" (banana-rice-applesauce-toast) diet to see whether I can reduce or eliminate the current diarrhea I'm having (was up for episodes at 1:30, 3:30, 4:45, 5:30 and 7:30 A.M. today) and I'll ask for a Bimix that eliminates prostaglandin, which today's webinar speaker and online research indicate causes erection pain in some of us. Of course, it's the only chemical of the three that's covered by insurance.
