@pjs27 Breyna is the same medication as Symbicort, but less expensive. There is also a generic version that is even less costly. It contains a long-acting beta agonist (airway relaxer) and an inhaled corticosteroid (anti-inflammatory). It is less expensive than Ellipta, and works for many people with COPD and difficult-to-manage asthma.
Ellipta contains one additional ingredient, an anti-cholingeric, which is another airway relaxer.
Another difference - Breyna is an inhaled mist, Ellipta an inhaled powder. Some people do bette with one compared to the other.

Have you decided to try the Breyna? Mines costs about $60/month with Medicare and my supplement.

@sueinmn Yes. I am planning to message Dr and ask to try it. At pulmonary function test they gave me a chamber to use with inhalers. Thanks for the information.
