sounds like your lumbar vertabrae are compressing on your discs and crushing your nerves. When your toes and feet get numb it is probably from major nerve roots exiting your spine now being crushed. See an ORTHOPEDID surgeon. They do a simple xray in their office and can isolate if your disc is being compressed. I had surgery and it was a mind-blowing success, but after 20 years of suffering, the nerves were very damaged.

What type of surgery did you have and how was your recovery? In all my years of dealing with back pain and severe peripheral neuropathy, I don’t ever remember seeing an orthopedic. It’s definitely something I will look into to as well. Thank you so much for your info.
