I have been getting Folfirinox, had 7 treatments with main side effects being tired most all the time and altered tastes, so no appetite and then when I would eat anything, it did not taste like I expected, either just weird or sweet things being way too sweet. Stopped coffee altogether (ALWAYS drank this, every morning, for years), do not want any chocolate - lol, big changes. After # 8 round of chemo, my platelet count dropped, and have had my chemo delayed two times in a row, I have 4 left and would like to get them over with! They now are going to reduce the chemo dosage, said it will be just as effective at fighting any cancer that might be hiding, and I have to be able to tolerate it and keep my platelet count up.
