Your Gleason score was eight not 8 or 7 or 6. The highest number is the only one that counts. A Gleason, eight is very aggressive.

With a Gleason 8 you should be on ADT for 18 months according to the NCCN which sets the standards for prostate cancer treatment.

Having it spread to the seminal vesicles makes it much more aggressive, so you really should stick to the 18 months. I wonder if you had any more issues that you don’t realize are a problem like intraductal, cribriform, EPE or ECE.
