Hi. I know this post was from June, but my pain Dr does not want to even try Journauv on me because my pain is chronic (44 years and I’m 55). Has anyone with chronic pain tried this medication? If so any relief? My Dr said it is only approved for 14 days use. Like many have said, after decades of chronic pain, I’m willing to try anything. I’m on my second SCS, many lamenectomirs (nerves grow through my tumors so they cannot be removed), countless injections, PT, acupuncture, Botox injection into L4-5 area, you name it!)

I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t know what else to say. I know I was told the same thing it helped me, but they don’t wanna give it to me either. I took it for a while.

I do not have any good news. I had my L2-L5 fused. I have tried everything available and some even some unorthodox things. This Journauv did not work for me. It is new and extremely expensive. However, my PM doctor gave me a manufacturers card to try it for $30 so it was not such a burden to try and be disappointed.

Please comment on how well the SCSs worked, how long they worked and did you have them removed. SCS is my last resort to pain relief from failed laminectomies and fusions from C-3 thru T-1 and T-8 thru S-1. Also Modic Type 1 in T-2 thru T-8. Thank you for your reply.
