I am 13 months and still little bit sore xx it takes time , but you will get there ,

For me, the four month mark was magic - big changes and was able to start returning to normal and no longer thinking about it. At three months, I was definitely wondering if my life had changed for good. Now I'm spinning (cycling) again for 15 minutes of a normal workout and can eat most things without too much issue. Was kind of a light switch change, all of the sudden. I noticed that what seemed to coincide with it was a sudden loss of a lot of swelling too - potentially has to do with my lymph system finally reconnecting enough to drain effectively?

Anyway, have faith - you'll get there!!

I’m 5 months out and feel much better now than at 3 months. 3 month mark was tough. I still get bloated and have pain but drinking water (a ton) along with understanding what food cause me pain has made a big difference and more healing time. Even at 5 months - certain foods kill me like anything raw (salads), dry and crunchy or fried. I did change my fiber supplement last month and the bloating has gotten better. Hang in there!
