As many people with PC seem to do, I researched your doctor’s hesitation and found the following on WebMD: “ In 2014, the FDA ordered that a warning label must accompany TRT prescriptions, alerting men to the possibility that TRT increases the chances of heart attack and stroke.” I might ask my doctor if that is the reason for not using TRT. Also, if you are doubting your doctor’s recommendation, it might be helpful to get a second opinion.
