I dont remember exactly what time of day I took Prilosec- it was prescription stength..I had a bout of food poisoning and heartburn- it resovled that in a week or so but doc said keep taking it..so I did..but it did not agree with me..luckily I stopped before I killed myself..but if it works for you, go for it..
