Just commenting on physical therapists who show no common sense and give exercises appropriate to an athlete. My clinic’s PT department is in that category. I walked away because they were causing harm. I now need to do some letter writing to their administration cand ask why all are now assigned to what was pt for athletes. Unfortunately I still need to find a physical therapist capable of thinking n

I have a feeling your experience--similar to mine--is very prevalent in the world of PT. If we wanted that level of challenge, we could have joined a gym. Maybe a personal trainer at the gym would have been more knowledgeable than these folk at PT. Since cancelling PT, I feel somewhat better and definitely more optimistic. I hope you get a response to your letter-writing. I will continue to do my stretching program on TV and do some walking. And, I will incorporate some home remedies including heating pad, epsom salt bath, bone broth and herbal teas. Please let me how your letter writing goes--if anything, it will be cathartic.
