I now take breaks when sitting on my sofa. I seem to have some arthritis in my tailbone--it comes and goes. I try sitting on the heating pad sometimes. Are you following any dietary or vitamin regimens? Perhaps that can help. Also, some stretching might make sitting easier.

There is a home exercise regime by Dr Forrest Tennant that I follow. Part of it is specific stretches 6 x day. I try to follow an anti inflammatory diet but I’m not much of a cook. I eat a lot of prepared foods (my spinal cord injury was at C8 so I don’t have any hand muscles) so it’s a bit difficult.

I do the regimen suggested by dr Forrest Tenant, an arachnoiditis expert. I also follow his diet which is essentially an anti inflammatory diet.

I recently invested in a reclining sofa. I am able to sit in it for over an hour. It allows to to socialize and remain comfortable. I’m trying to enlarge my support network.
