jcorriv2, Yes, that's correct. And that's why it angers me when I read posts whereby the neurologist makes the decision to put the patient with a meningioma ( usually benign tumor) on a watch-and-wait protocol instead of referring him/her out to a neurosurgeon. As an aside, sometimes I worry it's b/c the patient is part of an HMO health system where it seems one is required to go through a lot of hoops before being allowed to be referred to along the specialist food chain, so to speak.
