I just found this support group. I have had chronic pain for 25 years. It started when I tripped over my dog and had a hard fall.i also quit smoking and gained 50lbs along with extra weight after 3 babies. Then I started having odd symptoms and after 2 years of being tested and seeing many drs I got diagnosec with Crest syndrome or limited scleraderma. I finally lost 82 lbs, took 5 years but did it with help of wegovy. With that weight lost, my back pain disappeared but my joint pain
And feet already were damaged due to the weight and continue to be a big problem. Its not easy being a pain patient, and a nurse who worked in pain management for 21 years. I am still working but as a nurse on the computer all day which causes neck and back pain . I have tried so many things and am on tramadol for over 20 years and thank the Lord, Co tinuesto work. Physical therapy has saved my life . I am on a teletherapy and it works well for me. Its called Hinge therapy and truly has changed my life. I use it everyday and have been able to stay away from neck surgery. Sometimes I just need an extra boost and I am always trying to stay positive.. but in this day and age sometimes I need someone who else has pain and understands, to say its okay to feel bad for yourself . I have never joined a support group so may e this will help keep me in a positive state. Hope so.

Have u tried a yoga ball chair? It’s supposed to improve posture which may help your neck pain, sitting at a computer all day.
