I completely relate as I am also 68 and in a similar situation. I am not confident about the meds BUT diet, resistance training and an active approach to life have not made any difference. My numbers have continued to decline. I have osteoporosis in my wrists ... I have elected to do the Evenity shots. I agree that medications are not the answer but I want to avoid the consequence of "brittle bones" and remain active. The research on the weighted vests is another approach but inconclusive. Worth a try. Unfortunately, I think we are "victims" of a medical field that just did not pay enough atttention to choices we were making in our 40's and 50's.

@annegirard my osteoporosis is in my hands and wrists also.
Have you had side effects from evenity ?
I also have MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity) so am very worried about chemicals in the injections 💉.
