Often yes, especially if fat is consumed. So many things have fat. Get a list off the internet of foods to eat and avoid with PC. Mayo must have one although I am using one from Stamford. Your Dr should provide or provide access to nutritionist. But, yes, definitely pain after eating not unusual.

Pain may be anywhere in back and sides. Again, individuals are different.

Thank you. I have had my GB removed many years ago. Have had three bouts of pancreatitis, only the first one attributed to alcohol. I keep getting “idiopathic” pain in my URQ into back after meals starts out mild after occasional meals now it’s all the time no matter size, frequency, type. This happened 3 years ago with no findings. My grandmother on my father’s side died of pancreatic cancer and now my father dies just a few months ago of PC. Maybe I’m just being ultra paranoid now…
