Dr taking me off Prolia to start Evenity

This is another interesting reply. I didn't realize that Evenity could be used more than once in a person's lifetime, for just 12 months.
Did your endo say how many years you'll be on various anti-osteoporosis drugs?

Presently Evenity cannot be used more than a year and insurance cover it.
My doctor thought that will change in the future. She also stated that
there will be more break throughs in the future on osteoporosis medication.
Osteoporosis is a big drain on Medicare. There is a lot of research on how
to increase bone density. I am 71 and will be on bone building drugs for
the rest of my life with maybe a drug holiday or two interspersed in there.
