No, I meant I would try both the 5% white vinegar and 70% etOH separately. Oh, so you don't rinse the vinegar off. That's an idea. I do have a UF filter and I use a 1/4 cup of that in my micro-steam bags-but as I mentioned, I won't be using the micro steam bag with my Aerobika. I could rinse with the UF filtered water, but I'm not sure if I trust the filter. I did think about getting the water tested for NTM but it was too expensive. Ironically, I will learn if the filter is working by the end of the filter life (about 9 months-1 year)-when the water flow is eventually reduced to a trickle.

The end goal is to make this as easy as possible. I would like to avoid boiling. Do you have an exhaust fan in your laundry room?

No, no exhaust fan in the laundry room but.....now that you bring that up I may have one put in. Thanks for the thought.
