Finally, 8 cardiologists later, 5 catheritizations later, a femoral dissection, and so many tests that I should be glowing in the dark soon, I have a diagnosis! I just want to mention, you just have to be your own advocate! I had requested a cardiac MRI for so long to several of the cardiologists and the doctors simply let their ego get in the way and some thought I was an "anxious" woman! I finally insisted/demanded a cardiac MRI, even after a Cardiac PET stress test came back normal only 3 months earlier, as I had to wait 2 months to even get the appointment for the Cardiac MRI stress test which results show cardiac microvascular disease/dysfunction over a large portion of my heart. So much wasted time, frustration and stress (by the way, stress is the worst thing for MVD!) I'm going to search for a group in these forums, but wanted to follow up here.

Clearly your physicians did a lot of testing for different things. Any idea why they would not do the Cardiac MRI stress test? Was it an insurance "decision" (in quotes because that's the tail wagging the dog), or a medical decision?
