Hi Deborah. I have been taking LDN since around January 2025. My rheumatologist prescribed it for me. I am still taking 0.5 mg caplets, twice a day, which is filled by a local compounding pharmacy. It has worked wonders to control my joint pain and neuropathy, but it takes about 6 weeks to experience full benefits. I do not remember feeling jitteriness, but I understand that if you do it is usually temporary. Perhaps even lowering the dosage depending on what was prescribed. My rheumatologist has also recommended Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 mg x 2 daily for total of 1,200 mg. I'm surprised to read on this thread that there are physicians especially rheumatologists who are unfamiliar with LDN for use in treating inflammation, chronic pain, and neuropathy/nerve pain. NIH and PubMed have tons of studies on LDN being used for these conditions dating back 10+ years to the present. Hoping you can get some relief.

Also curious about why some pain docs seem to be unfamiliar with it, at least that's my impression.
