Dr taking me off Prolia to start Evenity

I'm on Evenity myself, and the reason is that one of my vertebrae is degenerated to such a degree that it resembles an actual fracture. I'm not a medical person, but my impression is that anytime an osteoporotic needs bone regeneration meds, and there's already been at least one fracture, then Evenity is the drug of choice among specialists.

I guess that means Evenity's known to rebuild and/or strengthen bone that much more aggressively, or more thoroughly, than other anti-osteoporosis meds.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

My understanding is that Evenity builds bone for 3-months & then maintains the gains for the remaining 9-months. That's what I've gleaned so far from articles that I've read.
