Yes - thank you RetiredBoomer. Fortunately I had heard about that trial which formed the basis of me taking the two low dose aspirin tablets before the start of my SBRT radiation treatments.
Interesting sidenote: In my first radiation oncologist meeting I informed the nurse practitioner about my low dose aspirin as a radiosensitizer based on the encouraging preliminary information to date from the "Add Aspirin" trial. To my utter surprise, the nurse practitioner said, "Hummm...I haven't heard about that."
Gosh - we really have to be on our toes and assume responsibility as our own advocates.
